An entertaining game: Westwood
Bengaluru: With 21 points from 11 matches, BFC in their debut season have done commendably well. But the hard-to-please head coach Ashley Westwood refuses to read much into the situation.
“When the final game of the season is over we will have a look at the table,” he said reiterating his previous statement that the team is taking one game at a time.
“It was an entertaining game. Chhetri played very well and was unlucky not to get a hattrick,” said the Englishman while stressing that Cornell Glen was the best forward they had come across in the season.
Shillong Lajong coach Thangboi Singto also congratulated BFC.
“We were sloppy in the first half and had few chances but couldn't take it, but credit to BFC, they played very well,“ he said while voicing that referees should me more consistent when asked about the penalty incident.
