Washington: Microsoft has been accused of sending " sexist and patronizing" form letter to publicize its Xbox One gaming console. The company has been forced to change the phrases in the letter and issue an apology, Huffington Post reports.
Xbox One's promotion, titled "We got your back", came in the form of a letter designed to help would-be purchasers convince their significant others that the console was versatile and a good investment.
According to the report, certain default phrases seemed to imply the letter was targeted at men attempting to persuade girlfriends or wives for buying the gaming console. Microsoft, meanwhile, changed some of the default phrases.
