Honey Rose, the glamorous actress from Mollywood, made her debut with Mudhal Kanave, a few years ago. After a few lacklustre films, she changed her name to Soundarya, hoping for better fortune. She hoped that the name change would make her career graph soar upwards. This did happen when she worked with Jiiva in 'Singam Puli'. Since the film turned out to be a dud at the box office, she went back to Malayalam films. Now, one of her long pending films, Kaandhar-van, where she had teamed up with a newcomer, 'Kadhir', is to release soon. Directed by Salangai Durai, who made the hit film, Kaatthavara-yan, this pretty girl will be credited with her original name, Honey Rose. It’s an intense love story and humour is also given equal importance.
Ganja Karuppu will be seen providing comic relief.
