For Mohit Mallik it's a happy co-incidence that his show on Zee, 'Doli Armanon Ki', that revolves around marriage, is launching a day after his real life anniversary.
Mohit says, “It's quite an interesting coincidence that my own wedding anniversary happens to fall just a day prior to the launch of my show. It's about a bride's journey of hope. For every young girl, her wedding is, undoubtedly, the most eagerly awaited day of her life. She has a million little hopes and dreams about her marriage, a vision of what her husband should be like, her own thoughts on the kind of life she wants to live once she ties the knot. The protagonist, Urmi, is a starry-eyed, small-town bride who enters the institution of marriage, her eyes brimming dreams. I play the man she gets married to. Whether or not I stand up to her dreams forms the crux of the story."
