A filmmaker-turned television host-turned actor, Karan Johar has donned many hats over the years. The secret to which, KJo admits, is talent combined with goodwill and the right attitude to survive in the industry. Right from his closeness and business partnership with Shah Rukh Khan to his newly developed equation with Salman Khan, Karan Johar knows just how to play his cards.
“But there is no strategy that I follow. I think people are making a big deal about my equation with Salman. Yes I am starting the latest season of my show (Koffee With Karan) with him, but there’s nothing ‘new’ about our equation. I started my career as a director with him. We worked together in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and we have been on good terms ever since,” he says.
The filmmaker is hopeful that he will team up with the actor soon. “Whenever Salman and I meet, there are talks about the possibility of us working together. I sincerely hope that we are able to rustle up a good script soon,” he adds.
