Univercell is aiming to spread its wings across the West in cities like Ahmedabad, Surat and Delhi.
Hyderabad: Having made a significant presence as a top retailer of gadgets, Univercell is aiming to spread its wings across the West in cities like Ahmedabad, Surat and Delhi in the North by opening 100 more stores in this financial year.
Univercell currently has 450 stores across India that includes franchisee as well as flagship stores.
“We will open 100 stores by the end of this fiscal. This will include 50 flagship stores and 50 franchisee-based ones,” said Sathish Babu, founder and CEO of Univercell Tel-ecommunications.
The company that clocked Rs 1,100 crore in revenues in financial year 2012-13, is expecting its revenues to touch Rs 1,700 crore by 2015, Babu added.
