The hunt for actress Anushka’s younger self has begun...
Director Gunasekhar is looking for an actress to play the role of a 16-year-old Anushka Shetty, who essays the title role in the period saga 'Rudramadevi'.
“The young Rudramadevi also has a significant role and her on-screen duration will be over half an hour. The director had approached a popular Telugu TV anchor but it didn’t work out at the last minute. A photo test was also done,” reveals a source. The source adds that Gunasekhar is planning to rope in a foreigner for the role but nothing has been finalised. “She looks like Anushka but language is a big problem. And her expressions are not as good as he expected,” he says.
