‘Biju Radhakrishnan murdered Reshmi, called quotation gang’

Kollam: Saritha S. Nair, the prime accused in the solar scam, told the Principal Sessions and District Court here on Monday that Biju Radhakrishnan had given “quotation” to kill her after he became close to Shalu Menon, another accused in the scam. She also said she was blackmailed by Biju as he had her nude pictures with him.

Saritha revealed this to the magistrate when she was produced in the court for trial in the Resmi murder case. Saritha identified Biju before the magistrate after which she said he had naked pictures of Resmi also.

While she and Biju were staying together in Thiruvananthapuram, Biju had said that he had given “quotation” to kill Resmi also. Saritha wept in front of the court saying Biju had given “quotation” to kill her also in a planned car accident after he became close to Shalu Menon, a serial artist.

When Biju’s advocate cross-examined Saritha asking her whether the stories stated by her were “mere speculation,” she replied that those were from her “real-life experiences”.
Biju had told Saritha that he had murdered Resmi and also threatened that he would take only “two minutes” to kill her.

When Saritha asked Biju to register their marriage, he tortured her by hitting her on the back of her head. She also said Resmi might have been murdered in a similar way. Biju had tortured her by crushing her hands between doors, she said.
