There is a definite change in his appearance; the extra fat is gone and in its place is a chiselled face and a toned body. Madan Mohan, who was noticed through his CCL stint, has bagged a few films and is visibly elated about it.
Madan says, “I started working out not to do justice to any character but generally for my own confidence. Competition is stiff and one has to look fit to suit any character. People have appreciated my looks and physique so, it does feel good.”
Madan was recently seen in the Tata Sky commercial with his skipper Mohanlal and good friend Vivek Gopan, which he considers a huge break. It is not just compliments that are coming his way; Madan is also getting some interesting offers. Incidentally, Madan never set out to be an actor — he became one by accident, something he is very happy about.
Talking of the roles he has on hand, Madan says, “I play a main character role in 'Mosayile Kuthirameenukal' and also have a second hero role in the film 'Snehamullaalu Koodeullappol. In addition to that, I’m also part of 'Dolphin Bar' directed by Diphan, as also in the Mohanlal-starrer 'Drishyam' and the Fahadh-Isha Talwar starrer 'Red'.” He will also be seen in 'Second Innings'.
Though every role is not big in terms of screen space, Madan is content that every opportunity is helping him gain experience and the much-needed edge.
Madan concedes that his film opportunities are largely due to the platform CCL offered him in terms of visibility.
