With emphasis on nurturing talent from an early age, National Basketball Association has organised a training camp for kids aged between 8 and 16 across various centres in the state as part of the youth basketball programme.
As part of the comprehensive school-based youth basketball pro gramme, National Basketball Association (NBA) will organise a training camp for the students aged between 8 and 16 from November 25 to January 8.
The training sessions conducted by the NBA coaches will be held in various centres such as Palluruthy, Fort Kochi, Aluva, Koratty, Kalamassery, Thevara, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Kuruvilangad, Mannanam and Changanacherry. NBA coaches, Isaura Guzman, Jim Corrona, Caroline Flynn, Adrian Newall, and Christian Alicpala will conduct the training sessions.
“It is a golden opportunity for the players to get training under the foreign coaches. We are already getting good number of enquiries. The training session will be held free of cost and is open to all the school teams who can make it to the venue,“ says Baby Kutty, Basketball Association spokesperson.
