At a recent film festival Rani Mukherji ran into Rekha and both the actresses were seen in almost identical saris. Their camaraderie caught a lot of attention from onlookers. Rekha, who is known for her poise and grace in the industry, couldn’t stop praising Rani at the event.
“Rekhaji is such a warm person and that’s what endears her to people. When she met Rani, she continued to compliment her on her traditional look. She was also overheard telling Rani that she should do more films,” says an eyewitness. Rekha has always been supportive of the younger actresses.
“Rekhaji is such a secure person herself that she has no qualms about walking up to an actor and complimenting them. It speaks volumes of her own personality. I think what she likes about Rani is the way she carries herself,” says a source close to the actresses.
