BJP state unit president G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday.

Karimnagar: BJP state unit president G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday asked the Congress-led UPA government to introduce Telangana Bill parliament in winter session even bypassing AP Assembly, if necessary.

Addressing Telangana Poru Jatara public meeting here, Kishan Reddy said the Centre should take all steps to introduce the Telangana Bill even calling special session if needed. He said people would doubt the sincerity of Congress if it failed to introduce Telangana Bill in the winter session of parliament.

The BJP chief came down heavily on T Congress leaders for constructing temples for their leader Sonia Gandhi forgetting the fact that 1,100 youngsters committed suicides due to delay in carving out separate state by the Congress. He suggested that martyrs statues be installed instead.

Kishan Reddy said the wave of BJP’s Narendra Modi will sweep away regional and sub regional parties in the next elections and added that Telangana development would be possible only with the national party like BJP. He made it clear that there would be no compromise on Hyderabad and Bhadrachalam as far as T state is concerned.

BJP national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao, senior leaders Ch. Vidyasgar Rao, Janga Reddy and others addressed the meet.
