As first reported by this newspaper, Nayanthara, who is enjoying big time in K’town post her recent hits, 'Raja Rani' and 'Arrambam', will be teaming up with Jayam Ravi for his upcoming flick, directed by his brother, Jayam Raja.
Apparently, the combo of Raja and Ravi has worked wonders at the box office, with five films, including Jayam, M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Santhosh Subramaniam etc. Though their earlier movies were remakes of T’town blockbusters, the new film is said to be Raja’s original script and the 'Aadhi Bhagawan' star is said to be donning khaki for the first time.
After wrapping up his present offerings, Bhoologam with Trisha and Nimirndhu Nil with Amala Paul, sources say Ravi will hit the gym rigorously to get that tough look of a police officer before joining his new film.
Touted to be a high action thriller, it is being produced at a mammoth budget by AGS Entertainment.
