Kollam: The Special District and Sessions Judge on Wednesday recorded the statements of Biju Radhakrishnan’s neighbours Beena, Anoop, Mercy, Mariamma and Harikrishnan in the Resmi murder case. Beena, a nurse, said she was told by other neighbours about Resmi’s condition.
When she examined her, there was no pulse indicating that death had occurred before they were informed. Anoop was among those who took Resmi to the hospital and he said that Biju’s mother Rajammal had requested others in the jeep to “save Biju” as the incident had happened.
Mercy said Resmi had visited her home a day before the murder and told her about the torture she was suffering from Biju and his mother Rajammal.
Mariamma, who took Resmi’s child to her mother’s home, said the child showed her the way to that home.
