The latest bit of spicy gossip doing the rounds in both the Tamil and Telugu film industries is that Hansika and her Kollywood boyfriend Silambarasan aka STR (or Simbu) have split up. Apparently, the relationship is so over that Simbu has already roped up Nayantara for his next film, which he’s also producing.
The news of the split has definitely come as a shock, as it was just a few months ago that the star lovers had acknowledged their relationship in public with talks of marriage. There was also news of both their families agreeing to the match. But a close source now reveals that the decision to end the relationship has been mutual, with both Hansika and Simbu agreeing to go their separate ways.
“They’ve both decided to part ways over some differences and are not talking to each other,” the source says.
Adding spark to the break-up news was Hansika’s quick exit from a recent event in Chennai, which also had Simbu as a guest. The actress simply vanished from the scene minutes before Simbu’s arrival.
Hansika is currently shooting in Hyderabad for 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda' with veteran actor Mohan Babu and his sons Vishnu and Manoj. The actress was not reachable and her mother Dr Mona refused to comment on her daughter’s relationship status.
