That Deepika Padukone has always wanted to work with Salman Khan is no secret. The actress minced no words during the promotion of 'Chennai Express' when she said that the pairing was jinxed and that she’d love to work with Sallu someday. After that, there was a buzz that the two stars might come together for Sooraj Barjatiya’s next film. But if the latest developments are anything to go by, that’s not true.
“I don’t know where has this has come from, but it is not true at all. There has been no discussion whatsoever on the film. In fact I haven’t even met Soorajji yet,” says Deepika rubbishing the rumours.
A source adds, “Sooraj Barjatya has not yet approached Deepika for his Salman-starrer. These are all mere speculations and wish list of some overzealous people who are desperate to pair the number one star actors in the business today. The film is still at least six months away from going on floors and it would be too soon to lock a heroine for now.”
