Song from 'Khaidi No.786' to be remixed for 'Kotha Janta'
With the current trend of remixing old hit film songs in Tollywood, next on the list is the popular number 'Atu Amalapuram Itu Peddapuram' from Chiranjeevi-starrer 'Khaidi No.786'. The remix will be featured in Allu Sirish’s upcoming film 'Kotha Janta', and picturised on Madhurima Banerjee. “I’m currently shooting for the song in the city,” Madhurima confirms. The film is being directed by Maruthi and stars Regina Cassendra as the female lead opposite Allu Sirish. The foot-tapping song was originally picturised on Silk Smitha. Maruthi says he chose the number because it suits Madhurima’s character in the film.
The director plans to release the film on Valentine’s Day, next year.
