The project itself is something that is bound to raise eyebrows.
Titled 'Garbha Shriman', this is a bold attempt by cameraman-turned-director Anil Gopinath to narrate the story of a man fallling pregnant. Though the film was announced a while back, the actor playing the title role has no finalised.
Suraj Venjaramoodu will be playing the lead in 'Garbha Shriman' and giving him company is Shajon, Manoj K. Jayan, Shammi Thilakan, Nedumudi Venu etc. Talking about casting Suraj, Anil says, “He heard the script and immediately agreed."
The female lead is not yet finalised and will be confirmed in the coming days.
Anil says that the film is inspired by a mythological incident and is humour based though it has been scripted after looking at scientific facts in consulta tion with doctors. The songs are penned by Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma and the music is by Ousepachan.
The film is produced by T.S. Jayakumar and Koyiparam Rajendran and the dialogues ar scripted by Suvachan.
The film will start by February 20 in Thiruvananthapuram.
