Kangna Ranaut’s decision to lock horns with Deepika Padukone at the box office turned out to be a wrong one. 'Rajjo' couldn’t even come close to 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' and no surprises there. However, what is startling is that Kangna is poised to do something similar next year too. According to reliable sources, the makers of her upcoming film 'Queen' have decided to release the film on February 28, the same day when 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' hits the screen.
“'Krishh 3' has catapulted Kangna into the top league but competing with the likes of Deepika and Vidya may not be a good idea. It is better to space out the release of good films,” says a trade analyst.With big films like 'Jai Ho', 'Kick', 'Phantom' and 'Happy New Year' releasing next year, the competition is getting tougher by the day. The only actress who has been able to hold her own at the box office among domineering male actors is Vidya Balan.
And now the question is: Can Kangna, in her 'Queen' avatar pull off a Vidya-esque feat, against Vidya herself?
