Dimple Kapadia's personal touch
Not many would know this, but Dimple Kapadia loves adding her personal touch to the films she works in. For her upcoming film 'What The Fish', the actress has used artefacts from her own home to set-up the house shown in the film. “In the film, the house and its decor play a crucial role. So Dimple decided to get personally involved to make sure everything was in order,” says a source.
Not just the artefacts, the veteran actress was actively involved with the art department before and during the shoot of the film. Apparently, she also took help from her daughter Twinkle Khanna, who is an interior designer, to add the final touches of perfection.
We hear the level of involvement was so high on Dimple’s part, that the shoot of the film was kept on hold for two days as she and Twinkle thought that a particular painting from Dimple’s house would make for a perfect fit on the wall. Insiders say that some artefacts she brought along are very valuable not just in terms of price, but emotionally as well. They have been with Dimple for decades, but in spite of that , Dimple didn’t hesitate using them for her film.
