Dhanush signs his next Bollywood venture
Dhanush made an impact in his Bollywood debut 'Raanjhaana', and there has been buzz since, about him doing more Hindi movies.
Now, there is talk that he has signed a Bollywood film to be directed by noted filmmaker R Balki, the man behind movies like 'Paa' and 'Cheeni Kum'.
Sources have speculated that the legendary Amitabh Bachchan will play an important role in the movie and Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara will be making her acting debut through the film.
There have been reports that Dhanush has replaced superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the movie.
Dhanush took to Twitter yesterday to make the announcement: "Yes guys,my next Hindi film is with Balki sir. Very excited and eagerly looking forward to it :) thanks for all your wishes.. Privileged to share screen space with Big B himself.Ecstatic 2 be part of Raja Sir's musical again. Finally, a chance to work with P.C sir !"
It is also expected that music director Ilayaraja and cameraman PC Sreeram would be part of the team. However, nothing is official as yet.
In Tamil, Dhanush is occupied with a few projects including Anegan with Ko director K V Anand.
