Chandrababu Naidu plans AP?tour to expose ‘Telangana conspiracy’
Hyderabad: Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to hit the road again and demand equal justice to all regions in the event of bifurcation of state.
Instead of the ‘Telugu Atma Gourava Yatra’ (Telugu self respect tours), proposed by him earlier, he will now address one public meeting in each district starting from Tirupati on November 21.
Speaking to newsmen at his residence on Saturday, Naidu has announced public meetings in Chittoor, Nellore and Prakasam districts.
The TD?chief said he would expose the unilateral manner and the political conspiracy hatched by the Congress government at the Centre during the public meetings.
Naidu has also released the full text of what Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh stated two years ago on his return from Maldives that the Telangana issue could be resolved only through dailogue and consenses due to complexity of the issue.
Quoting what Prime Minister said on November 16, 2011, wherein Dr Singh stated, “There won’t be any final decision about the separate statehood for Telangana unless there is consensus from all concerned. Telangana is a complicated matter and we are trying to evolve a consensus where all shades of public opinion would agree that what is being done is in the interest of each and everyone. We cannot solve the problem of Telangana by agreeing to Telangana being while there is disquiet and unrest in other regions of Andhra Pradesh from frying pan to the fire is not an appropriate solution to national problem.”
Naidu said what Congress high command and Union Cabinet have already decided on carving out Telangana state goes exactly opposite to what Dr Singh said. “What we are demanding is equal justice that should be done only after taking all the concerned from all regions of the state,” Naidu said.
Meanwhile, Naidu summoned the warring party leaders Payyavula Kesav, C.M. Ramesh, Erraballi Dayakara Rao and Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and advised them not to resort to personal attacks against each other.
Party Telangana Legislator's forum convenor Erraballi Dayakara Rao has protested against Payyavula and C.M. Ramesh filing cases in Supreme Court against the bifurcation.
The same thing he has told Naidu that it is not good for the party in Telangana region if leaders from other regions were freely allowed to stall the T process.
"I have told them not to quarrel in public and if at all they have some grievence on somebody they should bring to that to my notice instead of abusing each other in media, infact there is nothing wrong in Seemaandhra leaders filing petitions in Supreme Court which is not against the bifurcation but only against the manner of bifurcation", Naidu told newsmen.
