Ravi Teja to play Gona Ganna Reddy?

While Anushka Shetty plays the title role in Gunasekhar's period film about the Kakatiya Dynasty - 'Rudramadevi'; everyone is curious about who will step into the shoes of Gona Ganna Reddy's character.

There were rumours of Mahesh Babu doing it but according to a close source to the unit, the 'Dookudu' actor has refused the role as he is busy with his upcoming film 'Aagadu'. So the director has approached Ravi Teja for the same. “Gunasekhar and Ravi Teja were roommates in Chennai and share a good rapport. They've also worked together on a film earlier," says a source close to the director. Apparently, Ravi hasn't begun any new projects as he is waiting to complete 'Rudramadevi' before moving on.
