Vijayawada: Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Friday said that some politicians are making efforts secretly so that Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy is sacked soon.
Speaking at the Rachchabanda programme in Veerulapadu mandal, Rajagopal said that the Chief Minister was ready to sacrifice his post for the sake of united Andhra Pradesh.
As soon as the Telangana Bill is put for validation in the state Assembly, the Chief Minister would vote against it and resign to his post in support of Samaikyandhra, Rajagopal added.
He said that they have several ways to stop bifurcation and will put all their efforts for that.
The Vijayawada MP said that Kiran Kumar Reddy is for the welfare of the people in the state. He has started various schemes like Bangaru Talli, no interest loans, free education for SC/ST students, free electricity for users consuming up to 50 units and several other welfare schemes.
Earlier, people climbed on to the stage demanding release of pensions and ration cards that were promised in previous Rachchabanda programme.
