It’s a season of Malayalam super hit flicks which are being remade in Tamil. After a few films, including '22 Female Kottayam', which has been made into 'Malini 22 Palayamkottai' by actress Sripriya, the latest one to join the list is 2010 M’town blockbuster, 'Cocktail'.  The critically acclaimed thriller is titled 'Adhithi' in Tamil, with Ananya making a comeback of sorts in Tamil when she was announced as the film’s heroine a few months ago by the makers, Spellbound Films. Initially, Seenu who was, until now, seen in small roles, and Nikeshram, were touted to play the two heroes. Now, one hears Nandha replaced Seenu and the movie went on the floors recently. Bharathan who directed the Vijay-starrer, 'Azhagiya Tamizh Magan', and is currently penning the dialogues for Ajith’s 'Veeram' is back to wield the megaphone.

“The original had a challenging screenplay. We are also keen that it turns out well in Tamil,” says Bharathan. The edge-of-the-seat thriller has Bharadwaj as the music composer who has been missing in action in K’town for quite some time now.
