That Farhan Akhtar can don several hats with flourish, is a known fact. From direction, to acting, writing, producing and even singing, Farhan has proved his mettle time and again. The way he smoothly moves across genres of cinema has been much applauded by fans and industry insiders. After an intense biopic, 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', Farhan will be enjoying the lighter side of life in 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'.
He says, “I feel I’ve been lucky to have worked in certain interesting films and played varied roles. To have been allowed to do this without any background of formal training, is something that I cherish.” Farhan, who will be directing a film soon, adds, “To have had these opportunities and been accepted, is growth in itself. I am happy that the audience is happy seeing me do different things.”
2013 has been a good year for him so far with 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' crossing the 100 crore mark and his production 'Fukrey' turning out to be a surprise hit. Farhan says, “I like picking on something that is a little more difficult and challenging than my last work. It was amazing to play Milkha Singh. And playing a young father in 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' was interesting as well.”
Farhan chooses to remain tight-lipped though on his directorial outing. Will it be 'Don 3' or a different subject altogether?
