For a sequence in 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela', Deepika Padukone’s onscreen brother Gulshan Devaiah had to drag her for quite a distance. However, it was not an easy task for him. Gulshan found it rather difficult to pull Deepika because being an athlete she knows how to balance herself.
Our source says, “Though she is not that heavy she does manage her body strength well. Gulshan’s hand was sore by the end the scene. Further in the sequence, he also had to throw Deepika away. When he did, she hit the ground so hard, that everyone ran to her rescue. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was anxious and angry. But Gulshan said that Deepika jumped and dived in time to save herself from getting injured. Deepika hurt her leg but everyone was relieved that it was a minor injury.” Looks like the actress is ready for a full-blown action film now.
