A musical offering for Sachin Tendulkar
Kochi: In a tribute to cricket great Sachin Tendulkar, who is retiring after the ongoing second India-West Indies Test match in Mumbai, a Musical album is being released in his honour here.
The album, titled 'Shan-eh-Hindustan' (The Pride of India) of a Dentist C V Ranjit, who has composed songs for Malayalam films. Ranjit hails from Kannur in north Kerala.
This is Ranjit's second musical tribute to the great master. Earlier, he had come out with a music album in 20 languages all sung by him.
This time too, the young dentist has sung the songs penned by him and has also acted in the video.
Kerala Cricket Association has given him support to bring out of the album, he said adding the album also has shots of Tendulkar.
The music video, shot in Kochi, Chennai and Kannur, would soon be presented to Tendulkar, he added.
