Centre’s process to divide AP most ridiculous:?Naidu

Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu continued his tirade against the Central government.

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu continued his tirade against the Central government for the way it is handling the state bifurcation.

Naidu, who did not depute anyone from the party to represent to the GoM, which invited leaders of various political parties to know their views on the modalities of bifurcation, chose to talk to the media on Wednesday at the same time.

“The way the Centre and GoM are going about the whole exercise looks very odd and atrocious, and they do not have any respect and honour for the people of AP. They are giving half an hour slots to leaders as if they are conducting interviews for a job and wrapping up the process in just few hours, is this democracy,” Naidu fumed at GoM.

He also accused Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh for not responding to his letters on the crucial issue and said, “He will be there for a few more months, what justice can we expect from him. That was the reason we stayed away from their exercise.”

said Naidu.

Turning his guns on the Union Ministers for granting audience to the PCC President, Botsa Satyanarayana and the TRS Chief, K.Chandrasekhara Rao, in addition to the time allotted to their representatives he said, "Is it not a farce, that the Congress took decision to divide the State without wanting to do justice?

One representative from the Congress attends the GoM and says T state will be a reality by January 1, another representative from same party says it will be halted The party president will go and meet secretly, KCR also is allowed to meet them in secret, what is all this? Is it not an indication that they all are hand -in- glove in the political drama enacted by Congress party," he said.

He accused YSR Congress party for changing its tactics and attending the GoM meeting ostensibly at the instance of the Congress president ,Sonia Gandhi. "Jagan is given bail only for this purpose.

He is a tool in the hands of Sonia Gandhi in the division drama," he said. He faulted the GoM for not inviting JACs from two regions and other organizations for spearheading the movement.
