It’s common to see the leading man romancing two women simultaneously in Telugu films these days.
In the recently released blockbuster 'Atharintiki Daredi', Pawan Kalyan was seen wooing Samantha and Pranitha. Now, the two ladies will be seen together in another film opposite Jr NTR.
“Yes, both are playing the female leads,” confirms director Santosh Srinivas, dismissing the rumour that Pranitha plays a cameo in the film. “She will be the second female lead and she has a key role,” he adds. While Samantha’s name as the main female lead was announced long ago, the news of Pranitha being part of the film surfaced only a few weeks back. Was she chosen because of the success of 'Atharintiki Daredi'? “No, it’s nothing like that. We approached Pranitha before 'Atharintiki Daredi' released,” Santosh says.
However, the makers did wait for the audience’s response to the film before finalising on taking Pranitha for the role.
Initially titled 'Rabhasa', the film’s name has been tentatively changed to 'Joru', but official confirmation has yet to come from the makers of the film.
