An exhibition titled ‘Memory Traps’ will start today and showcase 25 paintings of K. Jayakumar, vice-chancellor of Malayalam University.
The paintings explore the complexities of mind, memory, silences and dreams.
A self-trained artist, Jayakumar has been painting for a decade now and has held four exhibition in Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Trivandrum.
“This is his fifth exhibition. The show is specially organised to support SOLACE, an organisation that works for children with life-threatening illness,” says Cyril P. Jacob, the organiser of the exhibition.
The show will be inaugurated by Dr M.K.Muneer at 4pm at Art Corridor, Hotel Le Meridien, Kochi.
The exhibition organised by Palatte People will continue till November 18 between 7 am to 10 pm.
