A remake of Tamil hit Ratsasan, the Telugu version is directed by Ramesh Varma and has given a good break to actor Sreenivas.
After several years and attempts, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas has finally got a positive response for his latest film Rakshasudu, which released a few days back. Though many anticipated that the film would get an ordinary opening due to the rains, it picked up on Sunday, and has already collected a producer share of `6 crore from the two Telugu states.

Interestingly, Rakshasudu has been made on a limited budget but the pre-release business has been good. With the positive word-of-mouth and the critics’ appreciation, the film is poised to have a very good run at the box-office.
