In a report published on Tuesday, People covered the confession made by Kyle Richards during Tuesday night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills wherein she opened up about her past eating disorder.
Richards tearfully revealed to castmates Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, and Teddi Mellencamp that she has previously battled an eating disorder in the 80s. In the episode, the Bravo stars were out for lunch in Provence, France, when Lisa Rinna shared that her youngest daughter Amelia, who had previously revealed her own battle with anorexia, has gone to New York to study nutrition, wellness, and psychology. “Lisa Rinna opened up about Amelia, who was very brave to share her struggles with an eating disorder. I can’t just pretend that I don’t know what that feels like. So, guess what? I had an eating disorder when I was younger,” Richards said in an interview soon after. “I had my own problems when I was younger but never wanted to say because I had my daughters and I never even wanted that in their head,” Richards added.
