ISIS slaughter fields: Shia Muslims rounded up and shot in the head in new video

Baghdad: In a shocking propaganda video footage release by ISIS, thousands of prisoners can be seen executed by a group of armed militants.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the footage shows masked Islamic State militants firing into the back of the victims as they kneel down in the sand.

It is believed to be shot in Wilayat, northern Baghdad in Iraq.

In the video, one of the prisoners can be seen pleading for his life before being brutally shot at by the militants. Before being killed, the prisoners were also beaten up by the terrorists.

The video also shows mass graves that were already been dug by ISIS militants to bury the dead bodies of their prisoners.

Branded as 'Kuffar' (infidels or traitors), some of the prisoners were asked to show their badges, in order to distinguish them. Many of the prisoners were believed to be members of the Iraqi army, say reports.
