Bomb scare at Nice shopping centre in France, police evacuate mall: reports

The terror alert came just hours before England's Euro 2016 football match with Iceland.

Paris: The French police on Monday evacuated more than 2,000 people from a shopping mall in French city of Nice after a bomb threat, just hours before England's Euro 2016 football match with Iceland.
According to reports, two bottles of gas were discovered near the entrance of the mall Lingostiere Centre, and added that a controlled explosion was being carried out.
The Lingostiere Centre is just two miles from the Stade de Nice where England will play Iceland at 8 pm this evening, and comes just two days after the Nice Airport was evacuated following the discovery of a suspicious package.
