Superbike beats F1 car, F16 jet in 400 metre race

The epic race was hosted in Turkey's capital at an aviation, space and technology festival called Teknofest'.

Ankara: Kenan Sofuoglu, from Turkey, a Supersport World Champion, riding his Kawasaki H2R motorcycle beat a Formula One car, three super cars, a F-16 jet and a private jet in a 400-metre race against each other at a new airport due to open in Istanbul next month.

The epic race was hosted in Turkey’s capital at an aviation, space and technology festival called ‘Teknofest’. Four drivers raced next to each other on the runway as a fighter jet and private jet raced next to them on parallel runways.

The vehicles included a Kawasaki H2R motorcycle, a Tesla P100DL, an Aston Martin New Vantage and Lotus Evora GT 430 along with an F1 car and the two aircraft.

The footage of the race showed all contestants together. However, the race was really between the F1 car driven by British driver Jake Dennis and Supersport World Champion Kenan Sofuoglu.
