Townsville: An Australian woman has been arrested for forcing her minor daughters to have sex with their father. The accused claimed that she participated in the crime out of fear as she was threatened by her violent husband to do so.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, the woman pleaded not guilty to six counts of indecency and assault along with one count of rape. However, the court found her guilty despite the fact that she was the one to inform police about the crime.
While the case was under trial in Townsville District Court, the accused said that she and her husband had sexually abused their children on three occasions.
In her statement, she said that on one occasion she had covered her daughter's face while her husband sexually abused them. She also confessed that she had performed oral sex on the child after being ordered by her husband to do so.
The court also heard that the women would often lure young teenage girls to parties so that her husband could have sex with them. She claimed that her husband was in an open relationship with her when they lured girls into having sex.
The woman and her husband have been taken into police custody and would be produced in the court at the next hearing.
