The second charge stemmed from a meeting he arranged with a police officer posing as a 13-year-old boy.
Under the plea deal, Minh could be sentenced to 18 months in state prison.
Minh was visiting Orange County in March when he told a group of dancers at a talent show that he was recruiting for a video.
Prosecutors say three days later, Minh had oral sex with a 16-year-old boy who showed up to audition. The boy notified Garden Grove police, who arranged the sting operation.
