    A day after, BJP’s star MP, Mr Shatrughan Sinha, attacked the party chief, Mr Nitin Gadkari, over his new team, the Muslim face of the saffron party, Mr Shahnawaz Hussain, raised a banner of revolt and refused to attend the meeting of the spokespersons, called by the Leaders of the Opposition, Ms Sushma Swaraj, Mr Arun Jaitley and general secretary (organisation), Mr Ram Lal, on Friday.

  • In a major goof-up, an advertisement inserted in newspapers by the Eastern Railway showed Delhi in Pakistan and Kolkata in the Bay of Bengal, and Kajuraho where Hyderabad should be.

  • Amid high drama, the Rajasthan Assembly was on Friday adjourned for the day after BJP legislators refused to lift their dharna in the well against suspension of two party members and grappled with marshals trying to evict a suspended colleague.
