Karthik Raju, who made his debut with last years release Tippu, is now coming up with his second film Padesave. “I am confident about this film as my character is close to my real life,” says Karthik.
The movie deals with the triangle love story genre yet again, but “In a realistic manner,” he tells, “It shows emotions that the present day youth can relate to. I am sure that everyone will feel connected to this movie.”
This movie is being helmed by a debutant director, Chunia, who earlier worked with industry bigwigs like K Raghavendra Rao, Rajamouli and also associated with Nagarjuna.
Talking about how he bagged this project, he tells, “I met Chunia at Raghavendra Rao sir’s office for the first time. Whenever I used to go to meet sir, she would also be there. Actually, it was K. Raghavendra Rao sir who suggested I do a few workshops with her before my debut film. That’s the time she narrated this story to me,” says Karthik.
“This movie was supposed to be my debut film, but it got postponed till now,” he says. Talking about his debut film, he tells, “Like every debutant, I was nervous and eventually made mistakes. But, I have learnt a lot and improved since,” he says.
“When I started shooting for my second film Padesave, I thoroughly enjoyed the shooting. The making of this film was like a journe in itself,” he says.
Another good thing about this film is that a big star like Nagarjuna is promoting. “He has seen the first copy of the film and announced that he would be promoting this movie. Nag sir’s involvement in this project is a big blessing. Also, K. Raghavendra Rao sir has been very supportive right from the very beginning,” says Karthik.
Even though his debut film didn’t do well at the box-office, he is confident his second film will do well. “The involvement of so many big wigs from the industry is a big asset for movie it definitely helps me personally aswell,” says Karthik.
Nithya Shetty and Sameera are playing the female leads this film. The first look of the film will be launched on Friday evening by Nagarjuna and K Raghanvendra Rao....
