Gionee yesterday added the S6 Pro to its S Series portfolio, and aimed it towards the Virtual Reality segment with a pre-loaded Gionee VR app.
Gionee has now entered the world of Virtual Reality as the smartphone comes pre-loaded with Gionee VR app to give users a next level VR viewing experience.
Gionee also introduces its VR headset along with a Split Screen feature, which will allow users to watch a video while they receive notifications from other messenger apps.
On the camera front, the S6 Pro has a 13MP IMX258 sensor with F/2.0 aperture and 5P lens, while the front camera has an 8MP F/2.2 aperture sensor with screen flash mode.
The device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box and is powered by a 64-bit 1.8GHz octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. Supported by 4G VoLTE, the phone is equipped with 3130mAh battery.
The S6 Pro comes with an all-metal unibody chassis and a 3D chamberline back and will be available in India in Gold and Rose Gold variants. The Gionee S6 Pro is available for Rs 23,999. The VR set will be an optional accessory for Rs 2,499.
