Reliance Jio launches LYF Flame 4: features, specifications, price

Reliance Jio has hopped on the smartphone bandwagon and has released yet another smartphone—the LYF Flame 4G. The smartphone is aimed towards those seeking a decent smartphone for daily communications needs and have a low budget.

The LYF Flame 4 sports a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The phone is powered using a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and is coupled with a MALI 400 MP2 GPU and 512MB of RAM. The internal storage is 8GB, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a micro SD card. On the camera front, the LYF Flame 4 features a 2MP sensor, while the front-facing camera is a basic 0.3MP (VGA) for video calls. Additional features include FM radio, 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G, EDGE, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The smartphone is fuelled by a 1400mAh battery and can provide a talk time of up to 4.5 hours.

The device is a very basic smartphone and is meant for minimal use with regards to gaming and other apps. The device is basically designed for those who need minimum communication requirements such as internet, VoIP, video calling, instant messaging and social networking. Priced at just Rs 3,999, the LYF Flame 4 joins the fleet of ultra-budget smartphones in the market. The LYF Flame 4 will be available online and a few select stores across the country.
