Earlier this year, Vivo launched the V9 handset in India along with a toned down variant, the V9 Youth. In what may come as good news to those interested in purchasing the handset, the Vivo V9 Youth has just received a price cut and is now available for Rs 1,000 less with the best buy price of Rs 17,990.

This bit of information was divulged by a reputed mobile dealer, Mahesh Telecom where the store’s owner took to twitter to announce the latest price drop. In the past, Mahesh Telecom has churned out reliable information regarding price cuts and this time around it seems no different.
The Vivo V9 Youth is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It features a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The screen comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Out of the box it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top.
The handset comes with a dual-camera system with the primary camera rated at 16MP while the secondary rear camera is rated at 2MP. The Vivo V9 Youth comes with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. To keep this handset juiced up, Vivo has added a 3260mAh battery.
