The China-based smartphone manufacturer has launched two new smartphones, R9s and R9s Plus at a price of 2,799 Yuan (approximately Rs 28,000) and 3,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 35,000) respectively.
Oppo R9s features a 5.5-inch FULL HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, powered by 2GHz Snapdragon 635 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with a 16MP rear camera and 13MP front camera. The smartphone weighs 145g and measures 153x74.3x6.58mm in dimensions. R9s runs on Android Marshmallow with colour OS 3.0 on top and is packed with 3010mAh battery.
On other hand, Oppo R9s Plus features a 6-inch FULL HD (1080x1920 pixels) display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, powered by 1.9GHz Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB expandable internal storage. The smartphone comes with 16MP of rear and front camera. The Oppo R9s Plus measures 163.63x80.8x7.35mm and weighs 185g. It also runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery.
Oppo R9s and R9s Plus are available in Gold and Rose Gold colour. Oppo will begin shipping of the two smartphones from October 28.
