New leak shows off Deep Sea Blue colour Galaxy Note 8 ahead of launch

A new image revealing a Deep Sea Blue colour option of the upcoming Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 8 has appeared online. The image was leaked by renowned tipster Evan Blass on his Twitter handle.

The image shared on Twitter, only reveals the front of Galaxy Note 8, reaffirming a larger AMOLED display. The phone is also spotted accompanying a matching colour S Pen.

According to previous leaked information shared by Blass, Galaxy Note 8, as widely reported, will feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display, barely larger than Samsung’s last flagship smartphone Galaxy S8 Plus. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC for the US market, and by Samsung’s own Exynoss 8895 processor for the rest of the regions, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone will also support expandable storage via microSD card slot.

In terms of camera, Galaxy Note 8 will come equipped with dual-camera setup – 12MP sensor each. The primary wide-angle lens will have an f/1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus, while the second is a telephoto lens with f/2.4 and which will enable a 2x optical zoom. On the other hand, the front camera will have an 8MP sensor and f/1.7 autofocus lens.

It will pack a 3300mAh battery, which can be recharged via the USB-C port or wirelessly, and measures 162.5mm x 74.6mm x 8.5 mm in dimensions. The smartphone will reportedly be available in four colour variants – Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue at a price of around €999 (or approx Rs 75,749), making it Samsung’s most expensive smartphone ever.
