Smartphone maker Huawei made the headlines recently when they introduced their premium flagship smartphone Mate 9. However, soon reports regarding several software issues with regards to notifications started surfacing online. It appears as if Huawei is not among the ones to take the user feedback lightly as the company just released the first major software update for Huawei Mate 9.
According to a report published by Android Central, Huawei recently rolled out the device’s first software update. The update comes with several notification fixes and camera enhancements. The update adds 6x hybrid zoom to the device. Apart from that other general improvements such as colour accuracy on clicked shots and low-light shots have also been released.
Wall Street Journal recently reported, claiming that Huawei will start making the Mate 9 available for purchase in the US market sometime in early January, 2017. However, no information regarding when the device will be available in India has been shared of as yet.
The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to be priced at EUR 699 (approximately Rs 51,600).
