Motorola brings out the new Moto 360 camera with Z2 Force

The camera module possesses two 13-megapixel cameras with f/2.0 aperture which is capable of shooting 360-degree 4K videos at 24 fps.

Motorola had launched the Moto 360 camera last month. With Motorola officially launching the Moto Z2 Force, Motorola has also taken the wraps off its Moto 360 camera. Looking like a proper 360-degree camera, Motorola’s camera is integrated into a plate which can be attached to any Moto Z smartphone.

The camera module possesses two 13-megapixel cameras with f/2.0 aperture which is capable of shooting 360-degree 4K videos at 24 fps. Motorola has stated that the camera module also features what the company calls “immersive 3D audio,” which allows the audio to follow the direction you are viewing.

One of the major features of the camera mod is that it is capable of capturing 150-degrees of video when using only one lens which means selfies are a breeze with everyone fitted into it no matter where they are standing.

Another additional feature that Motorola has worked upon is Google Photos integration. Working closely with Google, Motorola has ensured that all photos and videos can be uploaded can be uploaded to Google Photos seamlessly. This means with the modular pins and Google Photo’s practically unlimited storage, you are free to snap away, and everything will be present, synced to your Google Account.

The Moto 360 Camera is looking now to resurrect the Moto 360 brand. With increasing popularity of 360-degree content and demand for livestreaming, the Moto 360 will now have another shot at survival this time. Pricing and availability details are only for the US markets as of now. Priced at $299.99 in the US, we are waiting meanwhile for it to launch on the Indian market.
