Reliance Jio Prime: Port your number and get free talk-time for a year

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio recently introduced its Jio Prime services for existing and new users. Under this, users can avail unlimited 4G data and other Jio apps like TV, movies, music for a year.

The offer is said to be active for users who enroll until March 31, 2017 and users who wish to enroll for the Jio prime service will have to pay Rs 99 on company’s official website.

The Rs 99 fee is the enrollment fee which will be for one year. Apart from that, users will have to pay Rs 303 for the next 12 months to avail unlimited 4G data, voice calls and access to Jio Apps.

“Whoever is with Jio, will have the most benefits in the coming days... Jio prime members can enjoy the unlimited benefits for another 12 months until March 31, 2018,” Ambani said at the announcement event.

Here’s how you can port to Reliance Jio:

Step 1: Send a text message ‘PORT’ to ‘1900’

Step 2: Receive a UPC (Unique Portability Code)

Step 3: Download ‘My Jio’ app on your smartphone and generate bar code

Step 4: Visit Reliance Digital Xpress along with your eKYC documents and reference code

Step 5: Once your dues from the existing telecom operators are clear, you will receive your confirmation
