The new plan fall in the price bracket of Rs 333 to Rs 395, offering its users 3GB data per day alongside free unlimited calls.

Reliance Jio has surely changed the norms of the telecom industry by offering disruptive data plans at dirt cheap prices, forcing other telecom giants to slash prices of their tariff and data plans. BSNL seems to be doing no different; the company has announced the three new plans to go against the likes of Reliance Jio.

The new plan dubbed as the ‘Triple Ace Plan’ fall in the price bracket of Rs 333 to Rs 395, offering its users 3GB data per day alongside free unlimited calls. Users opting for the Rs 333 pack will get 3G data up to 3GB per day with a validity of 90 days, meaning customers can avail 270GB of data at Rs 333, or Rs 1.23 per GB. The speeds however are limited to 3G, compared to the 4G speed offered by the rival telecoms.

The Rs 349 plan will provide BSNL subscribers with unlimited local and STD calling and 2GB 3G data per day. This plan is likely to go head-to-head with Jio’s Rs 309 plan (including Rs 99 Prime membership) that offers 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days.

BSNL’s third plan offers subscribers with 3,000 minutes of calling on BSNL network and 1,800 minutes of calling on other networks alongside 2GB 3G data at a price of Rs 395 with a validity of 71 days.

The new plan offers unlimited voice calls to BSNL network. The internet speeds will be reduced to 80 kbps after the users exhausts 3GB of the data.
