Samsung India is considering launching new smartphones with 4G facility to help the tech giant gain market share affected due to recall of Galaxy Note 7.

“All the future launches, including entry-level statement will sport 4G facilities,” said Samsung India Vice President Manu Sharma. The company also expects to gain its market share on the back of the new launches, he added.

Analysts estimated Samsung’s decision to pull the plug on the Galaxy Note 7 device could cost the company up to $17 billion. In India, Samsung is offering customers, who had ordered Note 7 from other countries, to replace the device with either S7 or S7 Edge.
